Deutscher Wasserstraßen- und Schiffahrtsverein Rhein-Main-Donau e.V. (DWSV)
Introduction:
The DWSV is a non-profit making association aiming at the support of the environmentally beneficial inland navigation by promoting maintenance and construction of efficient inland waterways. In this connection our association concentrates its activities especially on the Main-Danube-Waterway.
After completion of the Main-Danube-Canal from Bamberg to Kelheim in September 1992 there are still two points of importance: the appropriate development of the Danube between Straubing and Vilshofen and the development of the river Main beyond Würzburg.
