Inland Navigation – Transport system for the future
The inland navigation is of great importance for the national economy as well as for private enterprises.

A modern vessel with a length of 110 m, a width of 11.40 m and a draught of 2.50 m can carry 1,800 tons. This freight volume would afford approx. 90 trucks of 20 tons load each. This means one vessel avoids a truck queue of 7.5 km length.
This is why inland navigation can help to resolve increasing traffic problems to a great extent.
